Chef John Morreale and his wife Jasmin were Sal'z Pizza, Bethel customers before becoming owners in October 2019. John is a chef/pastry chef with 42 years of experience in the hospitality/culinary industry. His passion for culinary work came at an early age when he enjoyed cooking with his grandmother. He developed his skills by working in local pizzerias and restaurants in the Niagara Falls, NY area. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, he realized that he wanted to travel all over Europe and the US to learn new skills and increase his knowledge in the culinary world. John is a very diverse chef/pastry chef with a passion in cooking and believes that love starts in the kitchen. With his leadership, managerial skills, and experience ...and with the help of his wife, Jasmin and daughter, Jashira, their goal is for Sal’z Pizza to serve the best NY Style Pizza and Italian food in a family friendly dining atmosphere with the focus on 100% customer satisfaction .
